We are all searching for something beautiful

To sweeten the darkness we often feel

And we look deep inside to that shining light

That never dies no matter what comes our way.

When we feel the joy that life has to give

If only we open our hearts to the song of our souls,

The music that plays through the cells of our being

And sinks so tenderly into the dreams we weave

A thousand faces pass us each and every day

Each of them angels in their own special way

We are all searching for something beautiful

Out in the fields where the skylarks soar

Down to the ocean where diamonds sparkle

Looking with eyes reflecting someones love.

And in the vast sky there is a voice calling us

Bidding us to find our way back home

Beyond all the dark shadows that chase us

Out into the endless visions of a golden age.

Somewhere there is a place where we belong

We need to walk through the door of mystery

And into the vast landscape of new discovery.
