I agree-have nothing against sport
I remember as a young dude
In the teens had read Moby Dick
I feared Killer whales
My friend and I were boating in the sound
An outboard not designed for bad weather
We had a twenty two rifle play hunting
Suddenly the skies turned dark and Grey
It was windy and pouring down rain
We could barely see the home dock miles away
Our boat was surrounded by a pod of killer whales
I put the rifle down was at their mercy
On each side of the boat we were at their mercy
Mom and my step dad were in panic looking out
We were lead home to our dock the whales
stood guard and then once safe went on their way
I never feared those creatures again
I know this is a repeat but I so your poem/dandy
