The road to your heart By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Am I traveling a path of my own making or threading a trail others have taken? Am I traversing safely where others turned back?
Have I journeyed further than most or following a dangerous track.
Should I trudge boldly forward with fearless footfalls or tiptoe tenderly over reticent cracks and pitfalls?
Are my strides forging ahead through undiscovered grounds?
Does the way even know to where I'm bound?
If my wandering should guide me to the entrance of your heart
is there a place for me to dwell, a loving part?
If so, will the road I've covered be destroyed behind
or is there a different route concealed from me
for another to find?
