I felt the soft breeze this morning out on the deck.
Smelling the country air cleared my mind.
The brush around the pond was hiding the flickering of the Deer Tails.
The sparrows and the bluebirds were waiting for their morning seed.
I could hear the traffic on the road on the other side of the house.
The bumping and the whirring sounds of the cars as they passed by.
I have had a very good week with wonderful Family and friends.
It will be something that I will remember for a long time.
I hope God will let me keep these memories as I grow old
They are a very important part of my life.
I have memories of the past that are still there
They linger but I don't dwell as sometimes they are very painful.
I try to keep my mind free of negative thoughts
I worry about the future of growing old
I don't think I want to outlive my family and friends.
It would be too painful to go through that as I have in the past.
I only have one consolation and that "God " will be there for me til the end.
