I'm like a castle By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I am like a castle with walls raised high,
Each room built with a secret to hide,
Every door is locked,
My drawbridge is drawn,
The walls to my castle holds no entrance,
To come inside you must climb,
But the walls are too high,
Even for the most skilled hero,
Few have made it inside,
And those who have infiltrated my walls,
Hardly ever discover the secrets I hold within,
This castle gets lonely often,
The silence reverberates off the emptiness inside,
People tend to see me as something strong and standing tall,
When really I am just an oldabandoned building,
Awaiting the day all my walls crumble to dust.
