Grandma is gone now but not forgotten
As I searched the attic for memories
Photographs Mom found important
Almost thrown away a tiny shoe box
Dare I be so bold invading privacy
Photographs of her youth found precious
My but Grandma was a fox
The Diary had a lock a key dare I turn the key
Was the key left in for me to see
The jet black hair age turned to Grey
Grandma and Grandpa danced the night away
The mountain behind them lost in mist
The day they first met and kissed
And there am I undressed just a baby
Sis would grow up and be quite a beautiful lady
A honeymoon long ago in Paris, France
On the wings of dove the two of them did dance
I'm going to Costco 50's music to enhance
And there in the corner a large oaken trunk
Memories hidden inside amongst the junk
