My best friend is my pillow By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I figured this would happen
My life turned upside down
I figured after graduation
When all my friends left
For other people
When my sister started acting older
When the truth spilled out my mouth
It was almost illegal
How much I fell in love
How I wasn't loved back
Was the pain, was my downfall
My pillow seemed to be the only one
I could shed my tears upon
Could tell my secrets to
Humans aren't perfect
But pillows give comfort
When all I've felt from humans is rigid cold
It's bittersweet
Crying yourself to sleep
It makes you drowsy
But also depressed
My pillow is my one companion
I know it won't leave
It keeps me stable
Some say crying yourself to sleep is bad for you
I just say it's a new chance
To talk to my best friend
