Kisses and lullabies By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
half asleep
I imagine you
staring at the inside
of your eyelids
like black screens
you said that
you want to stay
awake and away
from that
dark place
but across the
city
I can feel you
drift off
if I could
and if it was alright
I would kiss
that darkness away
each and every
night
I would sing
lullabies woven
of light
and that slight
hope
that you will get
better someday
