Everything looks like planets By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I could swear I've had memories of falling from great distances
Yet can testify that no suchaction has actually ever happened
Maybe it's that so much of the world just resembles falling
That maybe my brain is overcompensating for missing information
Maybe this is why I'm prone to believing in some greater truth
Despite no evidence to suggest that any such thing exists
While everything and everyone resembles planets
Just large and empty bodies of dead material to float between
Never wondering about the functionality of their existence
And why I can't seem to ever truly be at peace with this
I tend to over think this situation when given theopportunity
As if thinking about anything can change the way things happen
Still it's unbearable to simply agree with myself anymore
As I lose touch with myself and the way I used to view reality
Change and distance seem to be the only things I can rely on
