You don't really know me By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
You don't really know me,
I'm just a reflection you see,
Anextension of your own reality,
Instead of a separateentity.
You say you love me but that's untrue,
You just love the parts that are like you,
I'm like the caricature of your face on the ocean blue;
I'm not a unique individual to get close to.
So don't get mad when I act differently,
When I do what you didn't expect, don't be angry.
Just because you didn't see me in my entirety,
Doesn't change the fact I was always still me.
And I'll die before I recant my individuality.
