 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

The sailors were glad,
That the storm had quit;
Since it was real bad,
And it was not fit.

God guided them back,
To the harbor free;
Of knowledge they lack,
As skillful at sea.

Let them praise and thank,
The Lord for His grace;
Be candid and frank,
Now in a safe place.

Let them glorify,
As people gather;
Shown to signify,
He is the Father.

God changes rivers,
Into a desert;
As cold brings shivers,
For heat to divert.

As the thirsty ground,
Brings a fertile crop;
And green all around,
As the drought does stop.

There God settles those,
Who hunger and thirst;
Where the river flows,
They will be the first.

They will plant in fields,
Vineyards for the wine;
For abundant yields,
They thank the Divine.

Decent people see,
Nether brave nor fool;
Could this ever be,
By breaking a rule.

Picture in your eyes,
One humbled and meek;
That can be so wise,
With wisdom to seek.
