A fill runs empty By EDWIN FLORES, www.PoetryPoem.com/poetry2231 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Another day cries forge ahead
Our needs become my tired bed
Dreams of peace vapor away
A challenged soul tires dismayed
Yet in the wake of much despair
I ride the waves of one who cares
That bled for me to rise again
From circumstance as time His lends
Surely I'm not alone cries out
In this mindset that talks about
A better day, of one more door
That's mine to have, opened with more
A fill that runs empty yet He
Speaks life to live, mine His softly
Unsettled heart, take hold again
For time draws near to end your when
Be of good cheer and keep serving
For someone needs much more deserving
A word or two to fill their need
Through you, of mine who intercedes
Do not waste time your burdened heart
Will beat again its broken parts
I mend again for it is mine
As I have done time after time
A fill runs empty as it will
Yours not mine, to be fulfilled
