I am the saddest girl
You are the saddest boy
Together we'll make our joy
From the things we've destroyed
I'm afraid
So afraid
You are too
And I see that now
But, in the end
It's all the same
That born wild
Can't be tame
So I lay
Lay me down
I hear the whisper
But, I make no sound
Breathing thru
The urge to run
Breaking myself
Until it's done
I took your peace
But it fizzled out
Said my prayers
But they made me doubt
And that cross
Was just a cross
And this girl
Is just a girl
Wrapped up in
My angry tears
Lies the death
Of my worst fears
'Cause all you said
It all was lies
To make me trust you
Give my life
So I lay
I lay me down
I hear the whisper
But I make no sound
Breathing thru
The urge to run
Breaking myself
Until it's done
