 Penniluck's legacy

Memory Shelf

To my big brother Jim who is 72 years old today the 30/8/15, Have a wonderful birthday bros and hope all your dreams come true love always Penni hugs xxxx

Memory Shelf

I remember when we were wee
You were six and I was three
You climbed over a high up rail
Made oor Mum turn awfae pale
Hanging by your fingers there
She sent a wee lad up the stair
To push your fingers to let go
Said she`d catch you, sure you know
As her heart banged in her chest
She stood below and did her best
To calm down before you fell
And you know the truth to tell
She should have played fitba in goal
For yes she caught you still a whole
Wee laddie, who was a` her ain
She loved her bonnie cheeky bairn
Mischief was your middle name
From the dichty, drooked hame
But you fought for everyone
And you were a lovely son
Now the years have flown on past
Oh yes my bros they`ve gone so fast
Wish that we could start again
Back when you and I were weans
But we can`t and so must save
All the memories we have
Deep within our secret self
Up upon the memory shelf
Hope today oh brother mine
You will have a lovely time
Sorry not been for a chat
Computers break and things like that
Have a lovely day today
You can still go out and play
Age brings with it freedom too
To do most things you used to do
Well almost anyway my bros
Know as well I love you so
Happy birthday make it grand
For the best bros in the land
