You're that two nights
Wortha moonlight,
Sleeping out ina field wita critters'n'a coons like,
Anything you do might
Drive me deeper into love.
You're like a week
Down at the creek,
Lost in the moment after kissing I cain't even speak,
Sizzlin' summer heat
Beatin' down from above.
You're that first drink
Of whiskey when I'm so thirsty,
You're that fiery dream
Of salvation and I'm not worthy,
The pocket full of weed
When I feel like smokin' dirty,
That love that I need
When memories hurt me,
The light from a candle beam
Hoping you don't burn me...
Don't burn me...
I'm burning...
Blisters on my soul'n on my skin,
Fire's dyin' slowly in my eyes,
Dyin' within,
Cuz I still love you...
