Riptide current
unseen yet felt
undeniably pulling
me in the moment
I looked in
your eyes
A smile
that said
"I know you,"
recognition felt
in your first
warm embrace
Playful words
tossed about
so naturally
understood
connecting
effortlessly
New kisses that
began quietly
but seemed to
be a continuation
of eternal passions
between us
You know my
nuances and
those places
upon my flesh
that crave knowing
your hands and lips
Every next moment
is like the first ~
you never wanting
to leave my lips,
me never wanting to
leave your touch
Where did this begin?
Somewhere in
another life or
have we just now
let the Universe get
the timing right?
All I know
is when I even
think about
your presence,
those clear,
chestnut eyes
I'm drowning in
a feeling I have
never had and will
keep tethered
to my heart
forever
