Every day I will wake up
To a world I don't know
I search to see the sun
But sometimes it doesn't show
Then I ride down the dark street
On a rundown bicycle
The drops of time are falling
From a melting icicle
Then I go to school
Where the air is thick with noise
It leaks into your mind
And slowly, it destroys
It's hard to live a life
When you're scared to go outside
But I guess maybe I'm strong
'Cause I resist the urge to hide
