I took a walk,
Along a trail,
A trail I know so well.
I stopped to pray..
A little prayer,
I hoped God wouldn't mind.
If you are there..
Please answer me,
Just a little sign.
A dark cloud,
Suddenly apeared, over me,
there where I stood.
The lightning flashed,
The thunder crashed,
The rains came pouring down.
The wind it blew the fiercest,
The worst I've ever seen.
And just as fast,
It disappeared,
Vanished in a flash.
There I stood,
Soaking wet,
drenched to my very bones.
And as I slowly walked away,
I thought, just great,
No answer...
Nothing,
Nothing but the wind.
