Our Marriage
My strength married
With your weakness,
Your strength married
With my weakness,
We have made our house
The home of happiness;
My ‘haves' married
With your ‘have- nots',
Your ‘haves' married
With my ‘have-nots',
We have strengthened
Our delicate “nuptial-knots”
My soul married
With your heart,
Your soul married
With my heart,
We have made our marriage
The divine carriage cart
My so called imperfection married
With your so called perfection,
Your so called imperfection married
With my so called perfection,
But, for sure, we've made our marriage
A thing of perfection
