Poetic-Verses

'' The Meek Have Inherited The Earth ''

They are all het up,
So they all met up,
They agreed they were suffering pain,
In unison they agreed they wouldn't let up,
Their anger they just could not constrain.

The birds and bees,
All life in the seas,
Said life was becoming too tough,
Barely surviving we are on our knees,
It's time, enough is enough.

The trees and the plants,
Then beetles and ants,
Agreed it was time to fight back,
It's time for them to hear our rants,
Now it's our turn to attack.

We are nothing but slaves,
Placed in early graves,
By a species who are out of control,
If only they had remained in their caves,
Our planet would have kept its soul.

The mammals said yes,
Our views we'll express,
Together we will all take action,
Now is our time to halt our distress,
We deserve to gain satisfaction.

All the life forms combined,
Saying we're much maligned,
Soon there'll be none of us left,
To mass extinction humans are designed,
No wonder we all feel bereft.

Withdrawing cooperation,
There was no pollination,
Without us they could no longer cope,
It caused the butchers such consternation,
Before long they were left without hope.

Using our brawn,
 They're all now gone,
Of intelligence there was such a dearth,
We can look forward to a brand new dawn,
