"Adjacent Enjoyment"
A secret grabbed a chair next to me occasionally
It was unsociable in an atmosphere that encouraged openness
I was unaware that it was no secret at all
It was what I looked forward to finding out
Routine camouflaged God's artistry that was her
Roomy khakis and polos gave no justice to her kissable physique
Each day I wondered when interaction between us would occur
I wanted to peel each layer of her down to the bare meat
Prepared for one more opportunity that fate allowed us
My tongue broke the silence of the noise she was hiding
As we began to speak our similarities intercepted our differences
Now I am aroused by her love's apprenticeship
Pleasure can lead us to do bad things
Pain can lead us to avoid good
Being adjacent to her again lead me to understand
Happy isn't an emotion, it is a final outcome
