I'm laying in bed trying to sleep, it's 3 a.m
The world is peaceful, my mind consumed by mayhem.
There's so much that I want to say,
But nothing that can't wait a day.
Or maybe,
I'll be,
smart and I won't ever tell you,
Just so you don't leave me,
Hollow, dead and guilty.
It's 3 a.m and you're the one inside my heart,
It's 3 a.m and you're why I'm afraid of the dark.
A monster in disguise,
Hidden under a web of lies.
It's 4 a.m now, I wish I could sleep,
I wish I'd never fallen for you this deep.
I fell,
You left,
Me stranded, alone.
In the dark of my heart
you would feel right home,
And that's just the start.
