Forgive me

Sometimes we say things that we truly don't mean
Some words sting worse than blows I know
But actions speak louder than words
And for this my love is clear in all I've shown
Forgive me for not biting my tongue
Looking back now I wish I did
I don't want to have to pay for it forever
Losing you would be so horrid
I took what was left of me
And locked it deep inside your heart
Whether or not you see it through to the end
When you leave you take my world and rip me all apart
I said sorry hoping you could erase that day
Hoping we were worth more
How can you say you love me
If your so willing to close our loves door
Forgive me please
Leave it you may
Forgive me babe
I really want you to stay
