The Devil

Deep in the darken dungeon of his heartless mind,
lurks the evils that curse all mankind.
Devil he was!
Devil he is!
Devil he’ll always be!

Lover of hate and hater of love.
Master of envy, jealousy, and
false pride, with a gargoyle
face no one can abide.

Disseminator of the seeds of
prejudice, lies and deceit.
Scaly claws for hands and feet.

Horns and tail, eyes as cold as
mirrored glass.
With a devilish smile and a hellish
laugh.  He’s responsible for wars,
murder, rape and blasphemy of long pass.

Lives…
he tries to steal, and for a soul,
he’ll make any promise are deal.

Beware!
For you see…
he is truly real!
