The chills that run through my body
Feeling every pore and hair come to their senses
Not a feeling can compare
Not even the butterflies that hatch in your stomach
Not even the nerves from that first kiss
Those chills that makes the body come alive
Like the new day after each night fall
That make you feel every drop of blood
Traveling through each and every vein
That makes every nerve awake
Those chills that bring tingling sensations
Of a thousand needles penetrating
Through each and every pore
Creating a feeling like no other
I get those
When my mental state takes over
And all this weight is coming down
Like boulders
That seems to never erode away
And just turn into good luck
Like four leaf clovers
But I also get those chills
When I see your face and you light up my day
But when you send that simple message that says
K
Sends chills up my spine
To have the thought
That maybe I am not treating you like mine
And my chills evaporate
That would soon repeat its cycle
And precipitate though my body once more
and that's when its hits inside my core
