It took years for man to come to the realization That Mother Africa is the Cradle of civilization. Scientists found evidence south of the Serengeti Plain1, Remains of the first humans in all but name. The Bible places man in the Garden of Eden, Where he and woman committed the first sin2. Don’t speak of Mother Africa like she is another country3, Who gave birth to me, intelligent, Black and free. “Something out of Africa” and “Back to Africa”4 are clichés That depict me and her in primitive ways. I am not primitive with habits too dark to discuss. I am the Son of Africa!
A list of toxins too long, with no regrets, Left over drugs, asbestos and cigarettes Are dumped in her like sperm in the womb; Her children suffer from womb to tomb. She’s a Waste Land5 like Shoel and Gehenna.6 “No one from Africa can be a winner”. The hyenas laugh as they eat and grow fatter. Now they tell the lie that “all lives matter”. My mother is not a “country” whore for rent. She has more countries than any other continent. I am tough enough and Black enough. I am the Son of Africa!
