I yelled By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
yelled at him for leaving me.
i yelled through the glass of our high-rise apartment as i watched him, dragging his suitcase behind him as he waved down a taxi.
i yelled at ourbeautiful baby girl because i could see his face in hers
i yelled at God for giving me a man that loved his fancy suits and business trips more than fancy dinners and Hawaiivacations
i yelled at him for not answering my calls, leaving him minute long voice mails which were saturated in my tears, that i was sure he never even bothered listening to.
i yelled at him for not coming home.
i yelled at the TV and the cops and the witnesses
i yelled at the crime scene, at the bloody bodies and the totaled cars
i yelled at the news reporters, for this had no affect on them
i yelled in the sanctuary, i yelled in the cemetery
then i closed my eyes and looked to the sky and i whispered, "i'm sorry for yelling at you."
