Lonely thoughts on a Friday night By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I neverthought
I would be accustomed
to what I am today.
The chunk of burning
thick sludge that
rests in my throat.
The quiet nights
where I wasn't
not invited
just forgotten.
I never knew my solace
would end up living
in my solitude.
But now, the tears
feelso lovely,
paving their way.
Each one marking
burning
liberating.
