I'm beginning to wonder
If this supersaturation
Is at all tangible
Or if I'm simply lost
In the madder-tinged pulse
Of my own shadow
Blackened and coerced
Into faux repose
By a cerulean world
That long ago
Harvested and
Promptly ejected
This over-concentration
Of centripetal mass
Ahead of its prime
Before the sounds had a chance
To catch up with the memory
To match the expectation
Like a spiraling reflection
Of humanity, teased by
Its inevitable demise
