Leaves of silver, red, and gold 
Displayed in the beauty of
 Magnificent and mighty trees
Giving shade and comfort to all who
Come to sit by the water's edge
Enjoying nature in all its splendor


 We are reminded that
Seasons come and seasons go
Taking with it the past
 And ushering in new beginnings
For once again the leaves will fall
Silently to the ground
