Reflections of me
come through you,
showing me things
I go through
You reflect to me
the things I'd rather not see,
sadness I wish would never be
reflecting to me the tears that I shed,
and the fears that I dread
the lies that I make,
the selfish ways that I take,
and the pain I wish to break
I see the shame,
I feel the pain,
and the one that
plays the game
I see the way's I judge,
and the ways I can keep a grudge
You reflect the things I don't want to see,
but you also reflect the goodness
that is within me
I see the joy,
I see the peace,
the understanding,
kindness and bliss
You reflect the giving,
you reflect the living,
and the joy of forgiving
Compassion and Love
I see in you and your
reflection I see in me too
I am the one who can heal my pain
by bringing the darkness back out of shame
The one who can choose toerase the blame
The one that can stop the game
Thank you for reflecting back to me
so that I might see;
to again rise up,
and be set free
