I am starting to realize
I am not the lover
I once thought I was
I felt cheated bythe universe
Because it did not provide
the love to which
I believed I was entitled
But I did not look
Intothe universe for things to love
I did not look into
The trees or the eyes
And see the loveable entity
I saw me
I saw unlove
I saw service
I saw projection
Everything was cruel
And so was I
How would I be saved
If everything else was tainted, too?
I am starting to disconnect
In the hopes for future connection
I am starting to resent the idea
Of oneness
Of matrimony
I am starting to look at things
As seperate from me
I am starting to see love
In the things
And the people
I am pouring out my affections
I am acting without intention
I am no longer everywhere
And now
I am being swallowed
By the beauty and the comfort
And now
I am believing in oneness again
And now
I am starting to be loved by this
