The Moment I thought you'd died By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
As each day passed, I'd never looked back
I thought I'd be the one to end
Your pathetic unreasonable little life
Well looks like it wasn't my place to send
A draw of the knife upon slashed wrist
And a torrent of blood pouring from the arm
I knew my task had been complete
I knew that I could rest in peace
But then those eyelids fluttered open
And not a single word was spoken
And them my heart fell through my feet
And I collapsed into my seat
I offered out a piercing scream
Of agony, of pain unseen
I thought your death had been arranged
But still you linger, still remain
