Wrong person By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Can I be honest with you?
My silence would answer all your questions.
My eyes would tell you my exact thoughts.
But when you ask me to explain myself in words, the right ones don't fall out.
And oh so clear it is to me.
Even if my own fist was to meet your delicate face, the blood still wouldn't show you a clear perception.
I guess this is what its like.
To be tangled with a cold chain around your neck.
To be tied to someone who doesn't love you the same way back.
That's who I am.
The part of you that will always be missing.
Because, honestly, I know you'll hurt.
And that breaks me to know I caused you so much pain.
But failing your heart was never my intention.
It just so happened you fell in love with the wrong person.
