Of what I am Comprised By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
It's time to summarize
Of what I am comprised.
There's a soul no doubt
But that's too much to talk about.
I've something resembling a brain
That's not entirely sane.
Skin encompasses my all
Except for each eye ball.
There's bits I ought not mention
To exercise discretion.
I have some lanky limbs
That go off on their own whims.
Some muscle gives me the power
To fight my need to cower.
I have a frame of bone
That's nearly hard as stone.
Squishy are my guts
That to see you must make cuts.
Without these I'd not go far
But they're often off my radar.
I'm ever conscious of just one part
And that's my beating heart.
