My Dad By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I have a fear of being forced to marry
An old man who's sick
And cannot carry
His arms I dread
Cause in my head
He's like my dad
An incest bed
My dad was having sex
With my cousin
She wasn't all there
But she fed our pain
And our despair
Although my dad was trying to repair
I'm scared to repeat that
With a man I can't bear
He reminds me of incest
I feel so ashamed
He reminds me of filthy
Rags from the drains
He reminds me that incest
Is disgustingly deranged
But I'm being forced
With a man disengaged
Mercy is lost
Faith doesn't exist
Hope is a cost
My heart will resist
