Maiden in White By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
The maiden in white, she silently weeps
upon her angel's death bed,
"Why must he suffer this sleep?
He whose heart was pure?"
A cruel being lies among shadows,
luring with its lethal charm,
"Beast! Why must you torture them?
Those who've done no harm?"
Her painful shrieks, crushingly beautiful,
tragic wails to Providence,
“Please, oh Lord, be merciful!”
Fall upon deaf ears.
