Solar Sacrifice 12/14 By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I spoke two-thousand years ago, when last I walked among my kind,
but much I said was misconstrued, my Word alas, now rare to find.
As Son of Man, I said before; I am the Way, the Truth, the Light.
I the ransom for the many; through me alone, Eternal Life.
My Father'shouse has many mansions, splayed across the starry sky
and all that spirals in the compass of Apollo's crown, am I.
'I that I am', the Man of Sun, with every star, a sibling bond.
A solar temple sacrifice, my planet chakra strung beyond.
Celestial fire my Father set and with that spark, he spilled a tear,
for knowingly he lit my pyre; the cost of Life, my cross to bear.
Your flesh; my flesh, and so your Soul, for you are my breath and sinew.
Body strewn on Solar breezes ~ I the whole am 'I' that's in you.
