There's not so much that I remember
To say I am in life's December
But far too many tears I bring
To say I am amidst its spring
Indeed, I am wise somewhat
But there must be more, I must be taught
And yet I teach, and this I know
For youthful eyes have told me so
I am not old nor am I new
I am a pretty drop of autumn dew
