the highway sound carries on the wind
like a soundtrack to an open road,
trucks turn up on safely sound,
teetering on the ridge.
while turning on a morning ride
wheelsspin freely through a skid,
a monster mash connects in stride
while crashing on a bridge.
arm and leg threw here and there
on a pavement slightly skinned.
my brains lob kindly too and fro
on a rocky, dirty, slim.
hard-top back and up, then down-
I hardly hear a sound.
a welded door of iron cut
goes gliding on the ground.
