I knew you were something else.
A part of my past, present & future.
You gave me the best & the worst of times.
There isn't a memory that does not hold your name or of us creating something new.
Before talking to you gave me butterflies, a sense of relief, the feeling of home.
Now you give me bouts of anxiety, or hopelessness.
Never thought you would be the one to make me feel so ill.
We were so perfect, thought you were my one & only. My Knight in shinning armor.
You've been come my worst nightmare.
Toxic. That's what you are & that is what we became.
You became something I dreaded & I became something you loathed.
Tugging & pulling will not change the outcome, that is pure insanity at its finest.
I knew you were something else, then you became someone I no longer knew. Someone I came to know as my poison.
