There are some people who believe
Man controls his destiny...
That every life is left to chance...
That God's not Who He claims to be.
They believe that opportunities
Are simply accidents of fate...
That no Unseen Hand can open doors...
Much less shut or block a gate.
And this may very well be true
For some atheist or agnostic...
But for the trusting child of God
This type of reasoning won't stick.
We are not positioned where we are
Just by choosing our own path...
God has guided every footstep
And protected us from Satan's wrath.
It is beyond our understanding
But our purpose has been planned...
We were chosen for these moments
And for the time which is at hand.
Not required to make things happen...
All we have to say is yes
When He asks us to move forward
Or when He puts us to the test.
If He's gotten us this far along
He's going to take us all the way!
O, we'll make it to the Other Side!
God's Plan will never go astray!
