A broken soul, that I hold,
Unwritten words, that only loves told,
I told you I'd love you,
Till the day I grew old.
Each day set a tally mark,
On my abused and torn heart,
Me and the love of my life,
Had lost our true spark.
This damage had been done,
And the battle was won,
But no one was forgotten,
Your a memory stuck in my head,
Your pictures remains till I'm brain dead.
A thousand needle's all going through my chest,
All I was told,
"It's for the best"
I told her I loved her and she wasn't like the rest,
I took the wrong path and I have to confess.
No going back,
That was never what I wanted,
I just didn't expect you to leave me alone and haunted,
For all the times I mistreated you,
I guess it's fair,
Im eternally taunted.
Trying to move on, these nights leave me so cheesy,
In all reality, your making it look so easy,
I can't escape this horrific heart stabbing,
The thought of you with another,
The touching,
The grabbing.
I thought I knew everything,
You made me feel greater than any other being,
Your love,
Was the only thing worth seeing,
Now I'm stuck behind, with nothing to show for,
The most amazing thing I had,
Just walked out the door.
And now that your gone,
Not only am I broken,
You took feelings from my heart,
Like I'm the game and your the token,
Helplessly wanting to move on,
The urge to love, is now forever gone.
