my scream, my sunbeam By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
It seems like yesterday
when you greeted me last,
why did time run out
so terribly fast?
Why do people seem
to forget,
all the things
you have done and said?
Yes, you were a whisper
a flower still growing,
Who could have known
death was what the reaper was sowing?
Please remember this,
to me you were a loud scream,
in darkness, you're still
my sunbeam.
