My mind is racing
From one thought to
Another,
Like one spark
Igniting a fire.
I'm looking for answers
To lost questions.
But
Every thing blurrs
Into one moment;
Infinities seem to last only a second.
Time has no meaning
In the minds of a raving insomniac.
I can't be saved from the
Hunger of frenzied thoughts
That long to end
Yet, ache to know the beginning
All these thoughts
They're bullet shots,
Each firing at different parts of me.
And all I ever asked for was sleep....
How savage is the mind
That never gets a chance a to breathe.
