For You Belong To Me

If you'd only realize

how oft I call your name

You'd understand that life

could never be the same

you left a void too big

a void in everything

and so go forth my days

without the love you'd bring

I see your eyes, I hear your voice

You often keep me company

because my days are filled

so much with you and me

I can't let go, I never will

for you belong to me

I can't go back, I can't go on

I'm stuck although you're free

I'm sad, so sad,

no golden years fulfilled

I'm mad at you for leaving me

but my heart loves you still

alone I walk, back and forth

where you're embedded deep

I keep your picture nearer still

For you're the love of me

I wish so much to see your face

to feel your arms once more

I long so much but still you're gone

You walked through heavens door…

Because he lives inside of her...
