No greater inspiration could exist here on earth, than what you have been and continue to be to others and to me. This is to let you know that your dedication, your hard work, your devoted time, do not go unnoticed. It’s to let you know that you are truly appreciated for all you do and who you are. This poem is for you my Mentor of Honor.

words scarcely touch
        the awe-inspiring,  
               uniquely charismatic person you are,
   from roots along the Jersey coast
to the vastness of the north of P.A.,
     through studies at M.U. not far away,
across dozens of years
                   of inspiring youth with uplifting compassion,
   to say it quite simply
         you are a bona-fide-queenly-wonderful woman,
whose heart’s magnitude and grandeur
                       cannot be measured,
  your resilience has stood strong
           through tribulation and trial,
   you’re an exemplar of motivation
      with energetic zeal for life, helping hands,
                                                 and respected advice,
        no greater honor have I
                        than to be able to call you
an amazingly phenomenal friend for life.
