Poetry is for everyone
Are you like me?
Writing down words for everyone to see,
Or do you convey ,
My ideas and visions in words I play,
Written with a quill,
Poets can make the world stand still,
Penned with eloquence,
Bringing history up to the present tense,
What is my intention?
Am I writing my thoughts? or raising a question?
Do I even know why?
That I need to translate visions in my minds eye,
Other poets will critique,
My thoughts now written, so to speak,
Copyright now is mine,
I own this poem, under fitlike I sign
What is the right style?
It really doesn't matter, words are versatile,
Is poetry an inherent skill?
Just looking at your pen, it will become a quill.
Does it take a long time?
The hardest part will be your meter and rhyme,
Twenty minutes is all it took
Dreaming maybe one day I may publish a book
.
