It is the end of year
We celebrate with family
And no some are alone
We worship if we believe
And we ask others to join in
Thank you for our blessings
The tradition seeps right in
If you found your true love a gift is given
but at least the faith is given to you
And to the ones that don't believe
At least join us for the family
We are thankful that are family is whole
Cause some families don't have there family there to share it all
And it creates a burden
For Mom carries a heavy load
But my dad he steps in and makes the best of it I know
We are here to ask you Jesus
For a safe return of them
So the holiday is happy and no one can take it away
Thank you on thanksgiving it was more to me than food
And thanks though its on Christmas my dad may say
I don't celebrate this day
But ill help you and I care
Its is not the traditions I follow
And we share what we were given
And celebrate it never more
But looking back I see why
He could only afford food
Christmas was a luxury
And we could not afford one
So I cherish the times before
And fade to other thoughts right now
Wish the holidays were better memories
that my family could share
And we feel for new beginnings
Maybe some could not afford
So when you sit down at the table
If you believe thank the dear lord
And if you don't stop and think
There's someone out there alone
He or she may need a table
And a place to eat I see
It don't have to be your dining room but somewhere they can be
No one should have to be left out
Only reasons that are founders hold so proud
Thanksgiving Christmas New years day Hold all our winnings
Help the unfortunate become fortunate so our country can be strong again
And I hope someone can help them
So they don't have these things happen
But I know that it still does
Poverty will catch at least some
In the end we should think of others as we take what we have earned
I'm not saying it don't hurt
And if you barely get bye you should be heard
I'm not saying give everything you have
But on these days please lend a hand
It only matters to the ones who have nothing
And you can give something.
