lost and then found

Maintenance

Got a tool in my pocket
Its the one that I use best
It has a driver and a Phillips
pliers wire cutters and all the rest
I work in maintenance and I carry heavy loads
For there's drains and leaks and things that break
All the time we tire from moving up and down
The ladder or the stairs the elevators to
There is always job security with such these things to do
And the clutter we acquire is from the rush that we are in
No one knows the secrets of everything in here
There is to much to talk about with the simple things we do
If its complicated some can fix depending what it is
But I'm thankful for the job I have
And hope to watch it grow
